Description
Dixie is one of 15 horses we recently rescued from a terrible neglect situation in Deerfield. She is an 11 year old Appy mare; only 14 hands. Poor Dixie is blind in her left eye and had severe "elf shoes" at the time of her rescue. She may or may not be able to be trained to ride after she recovers. Her tendons were stressed due to severe hoof neglect. Adoption fee: $100.00.
