Close your eyes and then it's past; Story of my life. ~~Mike Ness Mikey's hour of darkness began when he was picked up as a stray in rural North Carolina. He ended up in a high kill animal shelter and he realized his future wasn't a pretty picture. He thought he was born to loose, but his bad luck ended when some really nice folks at Sarge's Animal Rescue made it possible for this young pup (and three other beautiful B & T Coonhounds) to rewrite the Story of their life. Now safely in foster care in coastal Georgia, Mikey has been enjoying the good life that all dogs deserve. Regular meals and lots of socializing have helped him blossom into a confident pup that really enjoys the company of other dogs. Mikey is a knockout, with stunning good looks and great disposition that make him a delight to have around. He will surely find a place in your heart if you decide to give him a chance. He is house trained, crate trained, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He currently weighs 60 pounds, though his estimated age is only 8 months. With his old life so far away, Mikey is ready to take his place in your heart. If you are thinking of adopting a coonhound, Mikey says "Let it be me!"
