One of the most prominent, culturally diverse and fasted-expanding companies in the world is hiring in Northeast Ohio. The parent company dominates the global market in their industry. After a recent acquisition of an Ohio facility, they are looking for some new, fresh talent. The current need is for a Chemical Process Engineer. This is a direct-hire position.
The Chemical Process Engineer will most importantly identify problems in the manufacturing area, but then act on those problems by engineering solutions to them. This person will lead by example on the floor. In a sense, they are targeting a Project Engineer with a Chemical Process Engineering mindset. This person will be key in assisting on capital improvement projects. They will also solve process issues by using Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis and Six Sigma techniques. Another important function of this role will be cost control and cost-reduction strategies. All of the analysis, research, and improvement findings will be presented by this person to upper management on a daily basis, so strong liaison and communication skills are a must.
Qualified candidates will have:
" Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
" At least 2-3 years of Process Improvements in a Food or Chemical manufacturing facility
